Rigorous Adoption of Sound Project Management Principles and Practices Wins Roy Hill, PMI Australian Award Project of the Year, 2016

Undoubtedly, the largest private land-based mainly Greenfields mining project in the world, the Roy Hill Project in Western Australia, has achieved remarkable success delivering the $10.5 billion project within budget and timeframes.

This success has been recognised by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Australian Chapters through the awarding of the PMI Australian Project of the Year. Accepting the Award was Mrs Gina Rinehart, Chairman of Hancock Prospecting and Roy Hill Holdings, and Mr Sanjiv Manchanda, Roy Hill Project Director (left), at the PMI Australian Conference 2016 Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on 30 May, in Adelaide.
