Biography

Andy Lamb is a successful entrepreneur driven by innovation, and the excitement of what can be. As a mentor, speaker and facilitator of change, he is constantly supporting the success of other entrepreneurs, whilst working as founder of Innovation Studios. Andy successfully works with clients throughout Australian and Asian markets. 

A serial disruptor and early adopter of new technology trends, Andy has been involved in technology-based businesses for over 30 years. 

He uniquely balances a 15-year corporate career holding senior strategy roles for global consulting and financial companies with hands on start-up experience, and a deep research and education viewpoint. 

Andy brings a unique blend of innovation from a start-up perspective, with an understanding of human behaviour, creativity and design. A practitioner of Design Thinking Techniques and applying Lean Thinking Tools to drive innovation and different outcomes without the usual heavy corporate strategy engagement process. It’s all about Disruption by Doing!

An investor in early-stage businesses, Andy was previously the Deputy Chair of the WA Angels now the Perth Angels, was an honorary fellow of Innovation at UWA, holds a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and has been Founder and Entrepreneur in Residence of Atomic Sky and Tech Hub incubator. He was also Chapter Director of Startup Grind Perth.
