Speaker: Luke Bentley

Topic:  Projects with Purpose: Delivering Community, Cultural and Conservation Outcomes

Project success is often measured by scope, schedule and budget, but public sector projects must also deliver broader community and environmental benefits. This session examines how effective project management can create community, cultural and conservation outcomes through strong governance, stakeholder engagement and Traditional Owner partnerships. Participants will gain practical lessons on managing complexity while delivering sustainable, long-term value.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand how project management supports community, cultural and conservation outcomes.
  • Recognise the benefits of engaging Traditional Owners throughout project delivery.
  • Apply stakeholder engagement and governance practices in complex projects.
  • Identify and manage project risks effectively.
  • Measure project success through long-term benefits and public value

This is an in-person event.
